☺ Lovely three story cottage with a well equipped kitchen (including cake and flowers upon arrival), cozy living room and fire, and comfy bedroom. We loved the location in the centre of Stow and close to Tesco on foot.
☹ Nothing - it was exactly what we wanted and as we expected.

Verified Great location, friendly locals, enjoyable week away
☺ located right on the edge of Market Square, couldn't have been better, superb pub opposite,Queens Head,made us feel like locals, next time we will have to hire a dog as we seemed to be the only ones without one!! good to have it's own parking spot and central for lots of attractions and walks
☹ Queens Head closed on a monday!! apart from that no complaints

Verified Very enjoyable and a lovely place to stay
☺ Lovely cottage over three floors. Literally right in the middle of the market town with everything on your doorstep. There are electric blinds on all windows which is good. In the bedroom the one side of the bed which doesn’t have a headboard is a bit odd but was okay. Altogether we had a fantastic stay. The parking is a real bonus and also very safe behind closed doors allowing you to leave the car and explore on foot.
☹ Although there was an iron, no ironing board. Even a tabletop ironing board would be a welcome addition as it is very difficult to iron on the work space.

Verified Our stay was clean, comfortable, quiet but lots to do in a short distance.
☺ The cottage is located next to the towns' square. So everything we needed was in a close distance: pubs, restaurants, a great variety in shops and a good supermarket in walking distance. The cottage has three floors, which in totally gave enough room to live and do your thing, together or separate. We had a warm welcome, with a bottle of wine and a nice cake.
☹ The consequence of a location in the centre of a village is that outside space is minimum. Just enough for a small table and two chairs.

Verified Excellent property in great location with parking. ideal for a couple.
☺ In prime spot with private parking a major plus in such a busy little town. Cottage completed to a very high standard and nice touches like milk, cake and flowers plus nice toiletries.

☺ Evenlode Cottage is a lovely spot, right in the centre of Stow on the Wold whilst still being private and cosy. It is in excellent condition with all the facilities you could
need. We had a wonderful baby moon stay!
☹ The only thing is that the bed is advertised as a king, but is in fact two single mattresses pushed together. Not ideal for a pregnant lady and her partner!

Verified Perfect for our needs.
☺ Location was excellent.
Private, off road parking was very good to have in a very busy town.
The facilities throughout the property were excellent and numerous.
The space of the property is well used and proportioned across 3 floors.
☹ Disappointing to have a double bed that is actually 2 single mattresses and therefore a dip in the middle.
One of the gates to the courtyard where you park is very hard to open without force.
The TV in the snug had to be retuned twice.
